Word Up Dog is a really simple puzzle game with a nice graphical style and compelling gameplay experience. During the game, you will be controlling a hip hop dog who has to escape his “imprisonment” by spelling words. The letters are scattered all around and will require gamers to reach them in some way. This premise creates a really interesting mix between puzzle and arcade games that’s really hard to put down, once it clicks.

Making words simply to clear stages would make Word Up Dog a really dull experience. That’s why some other gameplay elements have been added in, like different extra bones awarded for completing everything within a certain time limit, create words of a set length and much more. At the same time, things become way more complicated as you complete stages, adding a really needed challenge to the game.

Word Up Dog is now available for free on the App Store. We don’t know if the game is going to be free from now on or just for a limited time so make sure to download it as soon as possible if you want to try it out.
