Ragnarok Origin Element Table Explained

With this guide, you can learn all about the Elements table in Ragnarok Origin. Discover which Element is strongest against each other Element.

As every character in Ragnarok Origin has an Element that gives them strengths and weaknesses during attacks, it is important to know exactly what these attributes do and where the strengths lie. There are ten Elements in the game, which can be grouped by attacking and defending. Let’s explore them all in more detail below in the Ragnarok Element table.

Ragnarok Origin Elements: all strengths and weaknesses

Players have attacking and defending Elements, which start out as Neutral but can be changed by using elemental weapons, armor, skills, and items. Monsters have a defending element and use elemental skill attacks. For better effectiveness, use weapons with elemental attributes that match the Element based skill you have chosen.

The Elements available in Ragnarok Origin are:

  • Neutral
  • Water
  • Earth
  • Fire
  • Wind
  • Poison
  • Holy
  • Shadow
  • Ghost
  • Undead

The table below shows the weaknesses and strengths of each Element, and which ones they are weak or strong against. For example: Fire is strong against Earth and weak against Water. This means that, when using a Fire attack against Water based-enemies, the attack will be weak, but it will be strong against Earth-based enemies.

PoisonN/AN/A

As you can see from the table, the best choices are Neutral, Poison, or Ghost Elements, as these are consistent with no weaknesses against other Elements. Of course, this does mean they have no particular strengths either, but they are a safer option when going into battle.

Whichever Element you choose, be aware that you should equip the corresponding Element-based weapon and skills to make the most out of your powers!
