In our article today we will show you our picks for the best heroes in Raid: Shadow Legends and also we are going to share with you the best team setups for the game so you can make an idea on what works well together.
The synergy of some of these teams that we will share with you should give you an idea on how to form teams well and how to use their skills to make better combos and boost each individual’s power.
First thing you should keep track of however is the best heroes overall in the game. We have already talked in depth about the best heroes in each category – and we have what could be considered a summary or a conclusion in today’s article.
However, if you want to get all the details and the general picture of all the heroes in Raid: Shadow Legends, you can do so by reading our previous articles:

After checking out those articles, you will have a better understanding on why we made the choices we did and will hopefully help you find some very useful combos for yourself!
Raid: Shadow Legends Best Heroes
Overall, there are a few heroes that are far above others, either because of a powerful combo partner, or because of their kit which brings a lot to the team. Of course, there are some heroes that are good by themselves and most of the Legendary ones could be counted in here.
We will not list all of the Legendary ones, but only some of them and instead we will go for somewhat equal picks which will include all rarities except for Common and Uncommon.
The reason we will not list the Common and Uncommon heroes is because they are better used to enhance others, rather than by themselves. Therefore we don’t recommend that you use the Common rarity heroes, but if you insist on doing so, by all means go ahead!
Best Attacker Heroes:
– Heirress
– Hollow
– Juliana (+ Romero)
– Kallia (+ Atur)
– Skullcrown
– Baron
– Belanor + Zavia
Best Support Heroes:
– Warpriest
– Thenasil
– Flesh-Tearer
– Sinesha
– Raglin
– Venus + Cupid
Best Tank Heroes:
– Pounder
– Seducer + Temptress
– Atur (+ Kallia)
– Romero (+ Juliana)
– Sir Nicholas
– Rhazin Scarhide
– Norog
Raid: Shadow Legends best team setup
Randomly selecting the best heroes listed above and putting them together into a team won’t guarantee success. Creating an amazing team takes some practice and you will have tons of options, fortunately, when it comes to doing it.
The heroes in Raid: Shadow Legends are, up to a point, pretty much the same and sometimes choosing between two characters is a bit more difficult. Things become blurrier when you have to mix and match them into perfectly oiled setups that work well together, minimizing weaknesses and maximizing the strength of each character.
There’s a lot of trial and error involved in building the best team in Raid: Shadow Legends and there’s no one team to rule them all – which is a good thing with so many heroes available to unlock. But even so, we have some examples of solid teams below that you can use to get better results in the game.
Team 1 (Starter Team) – Here I have decided to make the best teams for the starters, which could depend on the hero that you chose at start, and will focus around the good lower rarity heroes which they could synergize well with.
– Elhain / Athel / Galek / Kael (either one you chose works well with the picks here)
– Warpriest (she works very well with all of them as she is powerful damage wise, and she can increase team attack and heal them).
– Temptress (your team will need an additional Attacker)
– Seducer (extremely good Support) / Acolyte (good for removing debuffs and decreasing enemy’s turn meter)
– Magus (if you can get Magus on the team will bring a great Leader Aura for the Arena)
Team 2: A composition that works well overall everywhere throughout the game because it’s equilibrated.
– Skullcrown (for the Attack)
– Skink (has good debuffs and the Aura increases ATK Damage)
– Arcanist (for the heals and ATK and increased Crit Rate buffs)
– Juliana + Romero (powerful combo)
Team 3: If you get struck by luck and manage to get 2 Legendary heroes, then this team is for you 100%.
– Zavia + Belanor (super powerful Legendary couple)
– Skink (debuffs, can be replaced by Kallia if you get both Atur and Kallia)
– Warpriest (decent and cheap support)
– Atur + Kallia (Kallia can replace Skink)
No matter what kind of team you pick, the 3 we have suggested are purely to give you an idea on how to pair your heroes. I suggest that you carefully read what each hero’s skills give and what they rely on, and try to find a Team Leader with an Aura that works well for the team comp you’re creating.
If you are going for heroes that apply buffs/debuffs/heals based on their HP, then try teaming up heroes that also rely on HP and picking a hero with an Aura that boosts the HP. If you are looking for a good PvP (Arena) team, then go for the ones which increase different stats throughout the Arena.
For example, there is a super powerful tank called Rhazin Scarhide which increases he Allies’ RES in the Arena by 90. This hero is considered quite strong, as his auto attack also removes buffs from the enemies and his skills decrease the enemy’s Turn Meter.
Always try to work around the heroes that you’ve gathered so far and try to do your best to log in often and complete missions in order to get the free Sacred Shard summon. And thus being said, leave a comment down below with your favorite team compositions and why you chose them, because we would love to learn more about what picks you consider strong and which ones have carried you throughout the stages.
