Rarest Emotes in Clash Royale
For this list of rarest Emotes in Clash Royale, we have selected the emotes based on their availability, obtainability, and how much one has to grind in order to get one. So without further ado, let’s jump in.
1) Champion Tournament King Emote
This emote debuted in January 2020 in a Global Tournament where it was rewarded to only the top 100 players of the Global Tournament. With millions of players playing the game, only a handful have this emote, making it super rare and an emote worth having.
2) CRL 20 Win Goblin Emote
The CRL 20 Win Goblin Emote is almost as rare and hard to find as the Champion Tournament King Emote. You could only get the CRL 20 Win Goblin Emote by beating the 20-win challenge in 2019. As we all know, successfully completing a 20 win challenge is no easy feat and is considered a herculean task. What makes it all the rarer is the fact that the emote was only available to players who beat the challenge in just a week’s time.
3) Rascal Cake Emote
Supercell has been giving away emotes for free to players on the game’s birthday, and the rascal cake emote is the rarest of them all. Released in March 2019, this emote was only obtainable in the content creator tournament streams and did not appear in the shop. What makes it rare is the fact that it was only available for 2 days.

4) Royal Ghost with Gem Emote
This list wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the Royal Ghost emote. In order to get one of these, you needed to have legend trophies under the old league system. Legend trophies were earned by ending the season above the legendary arena, and the number of trophies you earned above the requirement to be in the legendary arena was converted to legend trophies.
However, the developers removed the legend trophies feature in March 2017, so in order to get this emote, you had to be a veteran player and good enough to get to the legendary arena.
5) Golden Coins Lunar New Year Hog
Last but not least, we have the Golden Coins Lunar New Year Hog. Obtained as part of a lunar new years’ challenge, this emote was available during the February 2019 lunar new year. The challenge consisted of 3 stages and you had to beat every single one of them to obtain the emote. The emote was before the pass royale era, so you could get back into the challenge with gems, making it hard to obtain.
A few bonus and honorable mentions:
- Ram Chewing Grass Emote – Obtainable by completing the Ram Rider challenge in December 2018. You had to get 15 wins to beat the challenge and, since there was no Pass royale, you pretty much relied on gems and luck. Furthermore, getting back into the challenge came at a cost of 100 gems, which is pretty steep.
- Pekka popping Balloons – What makes this emote rare is that it was handed out to players on Clash Royale’s 4th Anniversary in the Content Creator tournaments and wasn’t in the shop as well.
