Rest in Pieces is all about precision and control over the in-game swing physics, so we will show you how to master control with our Rest in Pieces cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Use light taps!

The key to escaping the nightmares in Rest in Pieces is using light, precise control. You never want to hold down for too long, as this will build up your swing power to uncontrollable levels.

Most of the time, soft swings are enough to get you by most obstacles. You want to try to keep your swinger near the center of the screen in case you need to make any emergency maneuvers.

Swing towards your natural motion, not against it!

In addition to using light taps to maneuver your weight around, another key aspect to swinging is to always remember to swing in the direction you are naturally moving in. One of the bad habits we developed was simply trying to move away from obstacles without too much momentum. While this works sometimes, it will not work during the harder levels, so you will need to adjust your movements.

When you see wide obstacles coming up, it is time to start building up swinging momentum. You should be able to weave in and out of danger by using good swinging momentum.

If you want to dodge around a rock or something, you want to already be moving in that direction – you do not just want to tap and hold in that direction and hope for the best.

Grab as many gems as you can!

Those little shiny bright orbs floating around are gems. Each one you pick up is worth 10, and they are invaluable. 80 gems allows you to continue on the spot, and continuing is actually very worthwhile in this game since it uses an old version of the lives system.

Some of them will be relatively easy to get, but some are placed in precarious locations, so take care when attempting to go for them. Remember – if it is going to cost you your run, it is not worth it!

You can get free gems from the shop!

If you venture into the shop, you can earn 50 free gems by simply watching a couple of short advertisements. We recommend doing this whenever you have some free time, because soon enough you will eventually be forced to watch advertisements anyways whenever you run out of lives.

This will help continuing be a little easier on your wallet, as you can do it an unlimited amount of times.

Eye collections will count even if you do not free the soul!

Levels/souls come in sets of three. In order to unlock the next set of souls, you will need to pass a certain amount of eye barriers before you can do so. However, this does not necessarily mean you have to complete the run.

Even if the soul is not free but you have enough eyes, the next set will unlock. You still have to pay the initial gem fee to play as the new soul, however.
