Based on the fictional land of Galar, Pokémon Sword and Shield are classified as Generation 8 games and were both released on November 15, 2019. Quickly becoming wildly popular, Nintendo capitalized on their games’ success and released two expansions to them in quick succession.
The first of those expansions to arrive was the Isle of Armor on June 17, 2020, followed by the second expansion, Crown Tundra, which arrived on October 23, 2020.
This guide deals with the Crown Tundra expansion, its theme signified “Exploration.”
Pokedex Completion Requirements
As with every Pokémon game that came before Sword and Shield, Pokedex completion meant that a reward would be bestowed upon the player for their hard work. In this expansion, it would include capturing a total of 210 Pokémon including all of the Pokémon exclusive to the Crown Tundra expansion.
Pokedex Completion Rewards
Upon achieving this task, the player needs to talk to the scientist in the lab coat at Crown Tundra Station. The scientist will give the player the following rewards upon completion:
- 50 Rare Candies and 3 Gold Bottle Caps
- Replica State Crown
- Certificate of Completion
50 Rare Candies and 3 Gold Bottle Caps
Unlike the Mark Charm received in the Isle of Armor expansion, Crown Tundra provides players with 50 Rare Candies and 3 Gold Bottle Caps, which are perfect for them to use on those new Pokémon they have captured to get them battle-ready in no time!
Replica State Crown
The purpose of this crown is to signify the player’s accomplishment of completing the Crown Tundra Pokedex.
Certificate of Completion
Just like the crown, the certificate commemorates the challenging task of completing the Crown Tundra Pokedex.
