Less than two days, Psyonix launched the mobile version of the popular game Rocket League. After the worldwide launch, the game had a pre-season going on. Excited fans were waiting for Rocket League Sideswipe season 1, and it’s finally happening!
RL Sideswipe season 1 (known as Turbo Season) has started and it has a lot to offer. There’s an exclusive event, a new pass, and much more.
RL Sideswipe: Season 1, Crossover Event, and Rocket Pass
Let’s start with the Crossover Event. This event is special as both Rocket League and Rocket League Sideswipe players will be able to unlock stuff in both games. It means, you complete challenges in Sideswipe and get rewards in the PC version too.
Rocket League Crossover Event
Many Rocketeers are eyeing the ‘Wow’ goal explosion and can’t wait to get their hands on it. You can unlock this goal explosion by completing the crossover event on Sideswipe. The item will be added to your console and PC versions.
As of now, the Crossover Event has two challenges –
- Sign in to Rocket League Sideswipe using the Epic Games account (this will also allow you to play with Epic friends)
- Win 20 online matches
Signing into RL Sideswipe with your Epic Games account will also unlock the track ‘Water Resistant’. Completing both the challenges will get you the Nuhai Inverted Wheels.
RL Sideswipe Season 1 and new Rocket Pass
The pre-season has ended and the ranks have been reset. Depending on the progress made during the pre-season, players were given rewards and rare titles. Season 1 has started with a new Rocket Pass.
This time, you will lose your rank if you don’t play well. Winning and finishing matches will help move forward and get more rewards.
The new Rocket Pass has 50 tiers. The highlights of the Rocket Pass are as follows –
- Tier 1 – Diestro Car Body
- Tier 3 – Bubbles Boost
- Tier 8 – Light Bulb Topper
- Tier 10 – Dominus Car Body
- Tier 20 – Aether Wheel
- Tier 25 – Hypernova Boost
- Tier 30 – Toon Smoke Boost
- Tier 35 – Scarab Car Body
- Tier 40 – Toon Sketch Boost
- Tier 43 – Philoscope III Wheel
- Tier 46 – Sub-Zero Goal Explosion
- Tier 49 – Snakesin Exotic Decal
- Tier 50 – Hellfire Goal Explosion
Can you trade items in Rocket League Sideswipe?
The simple answer to this million-dollar question is – no. As of now, the trading system is not available in Rocket League Sideswipe. You can salvage items for SP. You cannot sell event rewards in the PC or console version either.
