Nightmare Cooperative, developed by Lucky Frame, is actually more than a roguelike, thanks to many interesting gameplay features. The game does come with roguelike features like permadeath, procedurally generated levels and more but it’s when you get multiple heroes that things start getting really interesting, as all your heroes will move at the same time, leading to some interesting gameplay features.

Luckily, each of your heroes will come with a special power that may make things easier. Still, danger is definitely what you want to experience in Nightmare Cooperative, as the longer you stay on a stage, the harder the enemies will be. This adds an exciting risk-reward mechanic that only manages to make the game even more interesting.

Another area where the game is unique is the graphics, with a really minimalist style that adds even more charm to the whole experience.

Nightmare Cooperative will be released on the App Store on August 28th for the price of $3.99. Some of the game’s feature make it a really interesting and unique roguelike so make sure to check the game out if you like this type of game.
