Sharknado: The Video Game Launching On The App Store In The Near Future

It was only a matter of time before Sharknado would receive a video game, as its over the top setting was just perfect for a video game.

Sharknado: The Video Game will be released before the end of the month on the App Store. Other Ocean Interactive, the team behind the game, has confirmed today that the game will be released before the second movie launches, as an effort to better promote the movie.

Sharknado: The Video Game will be an endless runner game where players will have to deal with shark filled tornados that plague the city on New York. The game doesn’t look too different from many other similar games but there’s no denying that the over the top setting of Sharknado will help the game stand out from the competition.

Sharknado: The Video Game is also going to be a test to see if there’s the possibility to expand the franchise in the gaming world with bigger titles. If the mobile game becomes a success, developing a bigger console game will be considered.
