This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Kero Blaster, the retro inspired shooter game developed by Studio Pixel, the team behind the popular Cave Story, has been released last year on the App Store. While the game didn’t manage to become as popular as the team’s other game, Kero Blaster still managed to do nicely thanks to its high quality gameplay experience. If you haven’t played the game in a long while and would love to experience some new content, you will be happy to know that a new Kero Blaster update is now available for download.

The new Kero Blaster update adds Overtime Mode, which includes remixed versions of the game’s stages, with reworked enemy layouts. The new layouts make the game slightly more difficult so if you’re looking for a challenge, this mode is perfect for you.

Kero Blaster is a retro inspired shooter game where players will have to control a frog, explore a variety of stages and ultimately save the frog’s lover. The Kero Blaster gameplay exprience may seem a bit basic but it comes with features such as multiple weapons and enemy types which make it more interesting than what it may seem at first glance.

Kero Blaster is now available for purchase on the App Store.
