SimCity BuildIt, the free to play entry of the popular series created by Maxis released a few months back on the App Store, has received a new update, which introduces new gameplay elements, tweaks and more.

The biggest additions of the new update are the ability to build an international airport, which allows players to complete missions and earn tokens that can be used to create and upgrade neighbourhoods, and the ability to build Himeji Castle, one of the more famous Japanese castles.

The new SimCity BuildIt update also includes some new gameplay tweaks. Apparently the Global Trading HQ has been improved following players’ feedback.

SimCity BuildIt features a gameplay experience not too different from the latest entries of the series, with plenty of building and managing to do. Unfortunately the experience is damaged a bit by the huge number of IAPs included in the game.

SimCity BuildIt is now available for download for free on the App Store. The new update is also available for download right now so make sure to update the game if you feel the irresistible urge to build an airport in your virtual city.
