Slime Pizza is a cute and creative platforming adventure game where you play as the titular Slime, an intergalatic pizza delivery boy. Our Slime Pizza cheats and tips will show you some pointers on how to get through this cheesy adventure.

Nitrome’s games are always fun and challenging, and Slime Pizza is no different. So, let’s get started and jump right into our Slime Pizza cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Unlock all Checkpoints!

Upon reaching a Save Room, Slime has the option to unlock a checkpoint there by paying the required pizza fee. Yes, a pizza fee. Anyways, this makes it so that if Slime bites the dust he’ll respawn at the last room you’ve unlocked. This gives the player the option to set what checkpoints they think they’ll need.

The thing is though, you can instantly backtrack to any of the save rooms if you’ve unlocked them as checkpoints. This is incredibly helpful for going back and getting any pizzas you’ve missed, so we recommend just unlocking every single save room checkpoint you come across to make things easier on yourself.

Watch out for Doggo!

Some time after you reach the fourth save room, you’ll encounter Doggo for the first time. He’s a puppy cop that patrols back and forth. If you get too close or within his vision, he’ll enter alert mode and viciously chase you down. He can chase you through rooms, so don’t think you’re safe just yet!

To make him calm down you’ll need to lose him and stay out of sight. When he’s on the chase he will constantly dart around to reach Slime, and don’t think you’re safe hanging on walls and the ceiling as he’ll just wait for you to come back down.

Move in and out of rooms as fast as you can to confuse and eventually lose Doggo. He’s intentionally put in the middle of places you need to go, so you’ll need to master the art of losing Doggo pretty quick!

All progress is saved!

An important thing to keep in mind is that progress – in terms of keys and pizza – is never lost. If Slime takes a hit and is kicked back to the last checkpoint, any pizzas you’ve collected will remain in your inventory. This goes for locked doors that you’ve unlocked as well. This makes death not as big of a pain as it could be, and you don’t have to go out of your way again to regrab pizzas and keys.

Get used to the level gimmicks!

While Slime Pizza’s levels are seamlessly integrated, there’s a clear start and end point to certain sections of the game. You’ll come across zones of the ship that feature a gimmick to mix things up. For example, after Save Room 8 you’ll enter a cheesy part of the ship. Some surfaces are covered in oozing hot cheese, so Slime can’t stick to these surfaces. You’ll need to make sure that there are no dangers around lest you try to stick onto a unstickable surface!

That’s all for Slime Pizza. If you have any other tips or tricks to share, let us know in the comments below!
