Small World 2 Launches on iPad

This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

I have only played the boxed copy of Small World so far because I am a complete geek and I love it. But now that I have a full time job, a family and a newborn and my friends are in similar situations, it is more and more difficult to meet up and eradicate our races from the game board. For the iPad owners, Small World 2 comes to the rescue and does it in style!

Days of Wonder have just launched the game (which we’ve missed in our weekly releases round-up) and if you own the first one, you will probably not understand why it didn’t came as an update or expansion. Because it’s basically the same game, but now offers online multiplayer for up to 5 players as well as more races than the original game. It is a big thing, but those who have purchased Small World will have to pay $9.99 for the sequel, just like everybody else.

But we won’t go into these specifics, it is after all a business here and it makes sense for Days of Wonder to try and maximize profits – which will certainly happening because I am sure that the prospect of online multiplayer, up to 5 opponents and that plethora of races is tickling your pleasure spots and you’re about to scream: “shut up and take my money!”. Wish granted if you go here.
