Sonic Colors: Ultimate Jade Wisp Guide

Sonic Colors: Ultimate is an extremely faithful remaster of the Wii exclusive game, but this doesn’t mean that it doesn’t feature additional content not available in the original release. Not only Tails can now help Sonic when he is in trouble, but also a new Wisp that made its debut after the original Sonic Color release can now grant Sonic its unique powers.

Here’s everything you need to know about this new Wisp, the Jade Wisp, and the power it grants.

Sonic Colors: Ultimate Jade Wisp Abilities

The Jade Wisp made its debut in Team Sonic Racing, which released after Sonic Colors, so it is a brand new inclusion in Sonic Colors: Ultimate. Like the other Wisps, the Jade Wisps are extremely social and energetic, and so do not hesitate to help anyone that isn’t a bad guy.

The Jade Wisp in Sonic Colors: Ultimate is unique among all the others as it doesn’t have to be unlocked, and it is available right from the start of the game. Opening its capsule will allow Sonic to turn into the Green Ghost and float in any direction as long as the power is active. By activating the Green Ghost power, it is also possible to move quickly between green anchor points, accessing areas that may not be explored otherwise. Please note that the duration of the Green Ghost is considerably shorter compared to other Wisp powers, so keep this into account while activating it.
