There’s a brand new game making waves over on iOS – Stickman Hook, a deceptively simple one tap type of game that keeps you hooked (no pun intended) for hours. And we’re here to help you get better at the gamy by sharing some Stickman Hook cheats and tips so that you can complete all levels.

With insane speed and requiring incredible reflexes, this game is extremely well done. We’ve played this type of game before, but I don’t think that any was this good. Plus, with so many levels to complete and a deep focus on the gameplay with no other distractions, Stickman Hook is really a winner.

Slow down!
Your stickman can reach incredible speeds if he keeps bouncing off those platforms and it doesn’t hurt (on the contrary!) to slow down a bit every now and then in order to still keep control over everything in game.

The easiest way to slow down is to tap the screen and hook the Stickman to a nearby platform, then let him swing a few times to reduce the speed and launch him forward once he does. This is recommended in most levels – although some do need that momentum and speed to get you past some more difficult obstacles.

Take Your Time
Despite the insane speeds and the adrenaline rush that each level comes with, this is a game where you’re under no pressure to race against the clock. Actually, there’s no clock in the game, so do take your time to find the solution or that perfect spot or moment to make a move.

Most of the levels can be completed easier if you do take your time and do everything methodically, as opposed to just trying to fly through the levels.

Those Double-Faced Platforms
Remember that all (or at least most) platforms that you can bounce on are double faced. This means that your stickman will bounce on either side of the platform, which is especially useful in some situations when you need to change direction or something like that.

In order to take advantage of such a platform, you will have to hook onto a nearby circle and swing your character as if you wanted to do a 360 -but when either side of the platform is hit, you’ll bounce back.

Consider each level a puzzle
Despite the lightning fast pace and apparently chaotic level designs, each level should be considered a puzzle that you need to crack. There are some specific moves that you have to complete in a specific way in order to complete a stage. So take your time and think about the solution for the difficult levels!

Look at the level completion meter
A good thing in Stickman Hook is that you can always tell how close or far away you are from completing a level. The meter at the top of the screen shows you how much distance is left for you to cover. Sometimes, making a crazy jump forward into the unknown, when the meter is almost full, will give you the win!

Watch ads to skip a level
If nothing really works in the game and your current level seems impossible, you don’t have to uninstall the app! Instead, you can watch a short video ad and simply skip the level. Easy peasy!

Disable Ads
But if those ads become annoying, there is a trick for you to get rid of them. Before doing this, though, please have in mind that it is these ads that actually pay the game’s developers for their hard work and it’s highly recommended to keep them on in order to say “thanks” for their beautiful game and give back a little.

But if you really, really can’t stand them, you can simply turn off your WiFi or mobile internet when playing the game. Have in mind that if that’s the case, you won’t be able to watch ads to skip the level either!
