Following a few months of exclusivity, the battle royale game is ready to make its jump onto other platforms. Super Bomberman R Online will release on Nintendo Switch on May 27 as a free-to-play game.

Super Bomberman R Online takes the experience introduced by the original Super Bomberman R and brings it up a notch, adding a 64-player multiplayer mode where only the last Bomber standing will become the victor. The game’s release will coincide with the beginning of the game’s first season, which will add new characters and cosmetics to the game, including a new Bomber called Old Snake Bomber inspired by the Metal Gear Solid series.

Super Bomberman R Online also feature a Battle Pass system like all the most popular battle royale games now available. The Silver Pass will be free for all players, while the Gold Pass will grant access to even better rewards to all players willing to pay for it.

Super Bomberman R Online launches on Nintendo Switch next week, on May 27, as a free-to-play game.
