Winning in Survival Heroes is all about planning, strategy, reflexes, and of course a little bit of good old fashioned luck. Let’s get started with our Survival Heroes cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Use your Scouting ability often!

Most of the time in Survival Heroes, whoever gets the drop on who tends to win most battles! Surveillance and knowledge is the key to victory, so your Scout ability is incredibly important. Your built-in Scout ability runs on a 300 seconds cooldown, so be sure to use whenever you feel like an enemy may be nearby.

Alternatively, you will also find Scout items scattered around the map. They are fairly common, so don’t be afraid to use them. As an additional tip, always be on the lookout for a red footprint icon. If you see this near the center of your screen, that means there is an enemy on the move in that direction. Drop a Scout in the direction of the footprint and you should be able to see your enemy!

Stay indoors and look for items!

When you initially drop into the canyon, your first course of action is to head into the nearest house. Houses and buildings always have the highest chance of containing gear, so look around!

Also, be on the lookout for spots you can examine. If you walk near a piece of furniture like a shelf, you can tap a button to examine it closer. You might find some helpful items like potions, or even gear!

Save your gold!

You can earn gold by taking down other players and finding it in boxes and other destructible items. Gold is consistent, so it carries over between matches. Sometimes when you’re in the canyon, you may come across the Divine Merchant. You can spend your gold here to buy powerful equipment.

If you happen to come across this guy in the early stages of a match, you can get extremely powerful VERY fast, which is why it’s important to hang onto your gold for moments like these.

If you find him when you’re nearing the end of a match, he’s not as useful as you’ll probably already have most of the gear he can sell you.

Choose the right weapon for the job!

Each weapon in Survival Heroes belongs to a class. The classes are Warrior, Shooter, Mage, and Assassin. Each class is more suited for varied styles of play, so pick the one that not only suits your playstyle but also your current situation.

Warrior-type weapons, like the Bane Sword and Wild Axes, are melee weapons suited for leading the charge into battle. These weapons often come with skills that, while not particularly heavy hitters, they do help your survivability in combat.

Shooter-type weapons, like the Sun Bow and Hunter Crossbow, are ranged weapons focused on sustained damage over time. They deal decent physical damage over time and are best suited for sticking to their targets. Give them enough time and Shooters can take down anything!

Mage-type weapons, like the Destruction Wand and Elemental Orb, are the trickiest of the bunch. These weapons can focus on a variety of things, including high-burst magical damage, crowd control, and utility. If you can master these weapons, you can be a force of nature on the battlefield!

Assassin-type weapons, like the Curved Blades and Void Daggers, are the deadliest of the four types. You won’t have any of these unlocked initially, which is a sign of how powerful they are.

These weapons are focused on ambushing your opponents and dealing extremely high burst damage that will leave them wondering what just happened. Your skills usually have very long cooldowns though, so make it count!
