The new game will be called Tales Of Asteria. The game is going to feature several characters who have already appeared in the series and a brand new story written by the series’ scenario writer. Among the confirmed characters are Cress from Tales Of Phantasia, Lloyd from Tales Of Symphonia, Luke from Tales Of The Abyss, Yuri from Tales Of Vesperia, Sophie from Tales Of Graces F and Milla from Tales Of Xillia.

The game is going to feature voice acting for all characters as well as a tap based cross slide battle system. An opening animation is also going to be included, created by Wit Studio. Do As Infinity will create the opening song.

The game’s official site has already been launched. Pre-registration are currently open, allowing gamers who pre-register to be able to use Milla as soon as the service starts.

Tales Of Asteria is going to be launched in Japan this Spring. There are no news on a possible launch in the West. With the free to play version of Tales Of Phantasia getting released in North America and Europe against all odds, there may be a chance for Tales Of Asteria to get released over here too.
