Finding the land of the sky fish in Tears of the Kingdom
After meeting with Sidon at Mipha Court, he tells Link to seek out Jiahto, who has been researching the ancient slabs revealed by the Upheaval. Sidon believes that the key to solving the raining sludge lies within the ancient texts, so head to Toto Lake to talk with Jiahto.
Jiahto is standing in a small cave, trying to read an ancient slab. A large chunk of the slab is missing, so head outside the cave and look to your left to find the chunk covered in sludge. Throw a Splash Fruit or use any kind of water to clean the slab, then use Ultrahand to move it back into its rightful place. Jiahto can then decipher the rest of the slab.
“Stand upon the land of the sky fish, and behold its lofty view. Among the floating rocks you see, a droplet waits for you. Through this droplet, shoot an arrow with the mark of the king. Do this task, and you shall reveal a most wondrous thing. See the watery bridge‘s resting spot with your own two eyes… that which connects the Zora to the people of the skies.”

So, the first step to solving this mystery is to find the land of the sky fish. What could that be, exactly? Jiahto tells you to report back to King Dorephan, so head back to Zora’s Domain.
Talk with the locals to find out that Dorephan has left to investigate the sludge. There are a bunch of Zora children playing in his throne room, and they might know something. However, they are playing a game of secrets, and if you approach them, they will immediately clam up.
Go around to the back of the throne room, and then drop into the small pool of water. Stay crouched and get as close to the edge of the pool as you can, and you should be able to eavesdrop on the children’s conversation.
You learn of a secret entrance that lies behind a waterfall with clean water. Since the only clean water is coming from Mipha Court, that only leaves a few waterfalls to check. Head to the Mikau Lake waterfall and go behind it to find a secret cave.
Go behind the smaller waterfall and use Ascend to fly up through the platform, then talk with King Dorephan. He gives you some of his King’s Scales, which should help with the mark of the king. Before you leave, search behind the king to find a Bubbulfrog below. Afterward, return to Sidon.
It is now time to head skyward! You can head up into the clouds any way you like. If you head a little east of where Sidon is, you can find some scattered Zonai parts; there are enough parts to build a hot-air balloon platform, so you can use that if you do not have any other ways of reaching the sky.
Once you are in the air, open your map and look around. Sidon said that the slab must be referring to a literal piece of land, so notice the island shaped like a fish—that is our destination.

Walk up to the center of the fish island and look to the southwest. Recall the slab’s text about a droplet, and you should see one come into view once you move your camera around a bit. Ready your bow, attach the King’s Scale to an arrow, and let it fly right through the droplet.
Look at that pillar of light! Sidon will definitely want to hear about the beam of light you have just uncovered, so return to him. Congratulations, you have solved the mystery of the land of the sky fish!
