Telltale Announced New Game Of Thrones Adventure Title

With all the games currently in development by Telltale, one wonders if the team members actually sleep sometimes. Together with the second second season of The Walking Dead and the ongoing The Wolf Among Us, Telltale is going to release a game based on the successful Game Of Thrones TV series during 2014.

Unfortunately details are scarce at the moment. The teaser trailer, which you can check out at the end of this post, doesn’t feature any gameplay footage.

The Game Of Thrones Telltale game is going to be an episodic release based on the Tv show, unlike The Walking Dead which is based on the comic book. Gameplay wise we can expect the new title to play like The Walking Dead: The Game, with adventure segments and plenty of QTEs, especially during battles, which should be present in the game.

Telltale has yet to confirm the target platforms for the game. Considering how both The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us have been released on iOS devices, we can expect Game Of Thrones to launch on the App Store together with the consoles and PC versions.
