Terraria is full of annoying, difficult bosses and Golem is one of them. You will find the Golem in the midst of the dark Jungle Temple. To get to Golem, you have to defeat the Plantera and get the key to access the Temple
Golem is a stone idol that can shoot fireballs and has fists that can travel through blocks. This guide will help you summon the Golem in Terraria and provide some tips to fight it.
Getting to the Golem
As mentioned earlier, to get to the Golem, players need to defeat Plantera in Terraria. The key that you get will help you enter the Jungle Temple. This is the only way to get the Temple Key. If you don’t get the key, you will have to beat the Plantera again.
Start hunting for orange bricks. You cannot mine these bricks as they can only be unlocked by the Temple Key.
To summon the Golem in Terraria, you need to have Lihzahrd Power Cells. You can get these by defeating enemies in the Temple or in the chests.
Make your way towards the Lihzahrd Altar. It glows yellow and sometimes you can spot it from outside the temple.
Now, hold the Lihzahrd Power Cell and right-tap the Lihzahrd Altar. This summons the Golem.
Some Tips to Fight Golem
The best weapon to ambush Golem is The Eye of Cthulhu Yoyo which is obtained from summoning a Solar Eclipse. You can summon the eclipse by using items from the Temple. Avoid using ranged weapons inside the temple as you’ll encounter Golem in a tiny space.
Make sure you have a good pair of wings. As the fight venue is enclosed and tiny, you will be moving, hopping, and dodging a lot.
Before you summon the Golem, get rid of all the traps. Toss in some platforms to make all the movement easier. Spread some honey on the floor so you can get down and heal.
