The new update is a rather big one which introduces over 1000 new items to the game 100 new enemies, 15 pets, 8 NPCs, 4 extra bosses new biomes, upgrades for old landscapes like new music, events and weather, fixes and gameplay tweaks. With so much new content getting added to the game, fans of Terraria really can’t complain.

If you’re still on iOS 6 and have no intention of upgrading anytime soon, you may not be able to play Terraria after updating it, though, as the game will require at least iOS 7 to run. A small price to pay for the huge amount of new content added to the game.

Another Terraria update has been released back in August, introducing a new hard mode, new biomes, new bosses, new enemies, new items and more. The introduction of Combat Targeting was also a very welcome addition that made using long range weapons more comfortable than before.

Terraria is now available for purchase on the App Store. The new update is also available right now for free so make sure to download it as soon as possible if you’re a fan of Terraria.
