Just as promised, a new update has gone live today, introducing new content and features to the game.

Among the new Animal Crossing: New Horizons content that all players will be able to enjoy from the get-go are new Custom Design app upgrades for the NookPhone and new Seasonal Items. If you’re not against spending some money to enjoy additional content, you will find new Sanrio-themed residents and items with the Sanrio Collaboration amiibo cards, which are now available for purchase.

For the full Animal Crossing: New Horizons 1.9.0 update notes, you can head over to Nintendo’s official website.

Two additional Animal Crossing: New Horizons updates will also be released in the coming days. The first one will be made available next week, on March 27, unlocking the first part of the Easter Event, while the second will launch on April 3, unlocking the second part of the event.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is now available on Nintendo Switch worldwide.
