The Good Life: How to Fast Travel

The Good Life may feel like a small game at first glance, but this is quite far from the truth. Throughout the adventure, Naomi will have to travel to a variety of different locations, and the huge size of the map can make traveling from one point to another boring and a little frustrating.

Thankfully, the game does feature a fast travel system that can be used to warp in different locations for a small price. Here’s how this system works.

How to Fast Travel in The Good Life

To unlock the fast travel option, first, you will have to make some progress in the main campaign, as the Fast Traveling Shrines are unlocked after completing the Investigate the Shrine on the Hill main quest. Once this quest has been completed, you can start fast traveling by using these Shrines.

In the beginning, only the Hill Shrine will be unlocked, and the only fast travel option you will have is to warp to your Home. To fast travel to other locations, you will have to reach other Shrines and interact with them. The first time you interact with a Shrine, you will have to pay £1, while using the fast travel option will set you back £10.

The only fast travel option that is always at your disposal is the ability to warp to your home from anywhere on the map. To do so, open the map and press the X button. This, however, will increase Stress, so use this option sparingly and when you really have no other choice.
