The Outer Worlds on Nintendo Switch was definitely playable prior to the release of update 1.2 last week, but it left a lot to be desired in terms of performance and visual quality, compared to the other versions of the game. The new update, however, brought a lot of improvements on these fronts, making the game way more enjoyable than before.

The Outer Worlds is the latest massive role-playing game developed by Obsidian Entertainment, the team behind many popular RPGs like Fallout New Vegas, South Park: The Stick of Truth, the Pillars of Eternity series and many others.

The game, which launched with plenty of content already, has been recently expanded with the Peril on Gorgon DLC. The downloadable expansion introduced a new planet filled with new quests to complete, new NPCs to meet, new weapons, and more.

The Outer Worlds is now available on Nintendo Switch. The game has also been released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
