The Witcher 3 And Its Expansions Will Be Sold Separately From Now On

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is going to be released on the Nintendo Switch eShop once again, but things aren’t exactly what anyone would have expect.

Publisher CD Projekt Red, creator of the series and original developer of the game, announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on Nintendo Switch will be no longer offered as a Complete Edition. From now on, the game and its DLC expansions will be sold separately.

Even though the game is no longer being sold as the Complete Edition, players who eventually decide to purchase both the base title and the DLC will not have to spend more than those who purchased the original release did, as CD Projekt Red made this change only to allow more flexibility.

Don’t worry, even after the Complete Edition is removed from eShop, you will be able to get the full set for the same price as before — in the near future we’ll introduce a bundle containing all products. In addition, everyone who already owns the Complete Edition will keep it, and, to ensure that no one buys the game for the second time by accident, every owner of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition (digital or physical) will receive a 100% discount on the base game and expansions in Nintendo eShop.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and its expansions are now available on Nintendo Switch worldwide.
