The Witcher 3 on Nintendo Switch finally received its long anticipated 3.6 update worldwide, introducing solid improvements to the experience. If you have yet to download it, or if you’re on the fence regarding the game, you will definitely want to check out a couple of videos that have been released a couple of hours ago.
The new videos, which can be watched below, highlight the new graphics options introduced by the update as well as the new PC-Nintendo Switch save file tranfer feature.
The Witcher 3 3.6 update unlocked several graphics options that can improve image quality in both docked and portable mode. The game will still not look as good as it does on the other consoles and PC, but it is a definite improvement, considering how underpowered the Nintendo Switch is compared to the other current generation hardware.
The inclusion of cross-platform save transfer is another extremely welcome addition. Many have bought The Witcher 3 on Nintendo Switch to play the game on the go, and allowing the use of PC save files allows players to have the bext experience possible at all times, whether at home or on the go.
The Witcher 3 is now available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One worldwide.
