There are two ways to obtain skill points in The Witcher: Monster Slayer. The first one is a simple leveling up. You just need to play the game and build up a level. Upon reaching the next level you will get certain rewards. Also, it includes a few skill points, usually around five.

The next way to get skill points in The Witcher: Monster Slayer is studying monsters. You will need to kill monsters of one particular type and after a few kills, you will get a free skill point. The reward will come after 3 kills, then 50 kills, and so on. You need to claim these bonus skill points in the Bestiary.
How to Use Skill Points in The Witcher: Monster Slayer
Using your skill points in The Witcher: Monster Slayer is a much easier and quicker task compared to farming them. You just need to find a skill tree in the menu and select the skill you want to get with your skill points.

The Witcher: Monster Slayer may be difficult in the early game, especially at the beginning. Monsters are strong and your character is not able to fight all of them. When you reach levels 6-8 you may start to spend points on the Alchemy or Signs. However, don’t forget about the Combat branch.
