The Wonderful 101 Remastered Gets 1.03 Update, Playable Demo

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

The Wonderful 101 Remastered has been released a few months ago on Nintendo Switch, and it seemed like Platinum Games was done with the game, as no new update has been released for a while. True heroes never die, however, and so another update has indeed been launched.

The Wonderful 101 Remastered 1.03 update introduces a very welcome new feature called Wonderful Code which allows you to unlock secret characters by inputting special codes. The currently revealed codes – UMBRANGIFT, ANGELSLAYERS – are used to unlock Wonder Bayonetta, Wonder Jeanne, and Wonder Rodin, secret characters that are quite difficult to unlock.

A The Wonderful 101 Remastered playable demo has also been released, allowing players to try out the game for free. Better yet, the demo not only allows save file transfer to the full version of the game but also provides another easy way to unlock Wonder Bayonetta.

As The Wonderful 101 Remastered is among the most unique character action games ever made by Platinum Games, the release of a playable demo is definitely a good move. The game can be a bit hard to get into, but once it clicks, it becomes an incredibly addictive experience.

The Wonderful 101 Remastered is now available on Nintendo Switch as well as on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
