The World Ends With You: Solo Remix Will Be Fixed For iOS 8, Square Enix Confirms

This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Yesterday fans of The World Ends With You: Solo Remix received some really bad news. The game currently suffers from a critical bug that makes it unplayable on iOS 8 and Square Enix revealed through a support email that the game wasn’t going to be fixed. While the news was definitely disappointing, it was also quite strange, as the game’s App Store page still stated that the publisher was looking into the matter.

Thankfully, it looks like The World Ends With You: Solo Remix is really going to be fixed. In a new email sent to Touch Arcade, the Japanese company confirmed that they are currently working on a fix for their game. As things are more complicated than expected, the publisher still can’t provide a release date for the update but it will be coming for sure.

The World Ends With You: Solo Remix is one of the more unique role playing games released in recent years. The iOS version of the game comes with several enhancements not found in the original Nintendo DS release such as gameplay tweaks, new content, improved graphics and more.

The World Ends With You: Solo Remix is now available on the App Store for both iPhone and iPad.

Thanks, Touch Arcade
