A few days ago it’s been confirmed that This War of Mine, the unique simulation game developed by 11 bit Studios, was going to become playable on iPhone sometime this month. The wait has proven to be much shorter than anticipated, as the game has received a new update in the past few hours which adds universal support to the game, making it playable on iPhone.

As revealed a few days ago, 11 bit Studios has worked hard to tweak the iPhone version of This War of Mine to make it as enjoyable as it is on iPad. The iPhone version sports a new interface that is just perfect for a smaller screen.

This War Of Mine is set in a modern, war-torn area where a band of civilians will try anything it can to survive a devastating conflict. As war often demands some though choices, gamers will have to make many of these in the name of survival, often being forced to do something that goes against their morals.

The iOS release of This War Of Mine is based on the PC version, including all of its features, so those playing the game on iOS devices will be getting the full experience without cuts or changes.

This War Of Mine is now available for purchase on the App Store.
