Tips and Tricks on Dealing With Gloo Walls in Free Fire

Take down Gloo Walls with these tips and tricks for Garena Free Fire.

The Gloo Wall is a throwable grenade in Garena Free Fire. Instead of exploding and dealing damage to enemies, the Gloo Wall is a defensive grenade that creates a makeshift barrier to use as emergency cover. It can be quite handy in a pinch, but it can also deny you a kill if you don’t know how to work around it. Today, we’ll show you some tips on dealing with Gloo Walls in Garena Free Fire!

How to Deal with Gloo Walls in Garena Free Fire

Gloo Wall grenades can be found all over the map, just like any other item. When a player throws a Gloo Wall grenade, a thick wall will form on the spot, protecting the user from harm. Gloo Walls can sustain a good amount of damage before cracking, so players will use them when cover isn’t readily available.

A single player can have up to three Gloo Walls up at a time. If they try to make another, the oldest Gloo Wall will automatically be destroyed. Gloo Walls also deteriorate over time, and will break completely once enough time has passed.

If you’ve been playing Garena Free Fire for a while, you’ve probably been in a situation where you got the drop on an unsuspecting player, only for them to break out the Gloo Wall. There are a few ways to deal with Gloo Walls, and here are some. Try them all out to see what works best for you!

1. Flank your target!

One of the most immediate reactions to someone using a Gloo Wall is to flank them. Depending on the distance between you and your target, this may or may not work. If you’re already really close to your target, you can move to the sides to flank, and hope that they’re not already looking your way. If you’re too far away, your enemy may see you coming from whatever direction you had in mind, so it might be too dangerous.

2. Use explosives to flush them out!

A more reliable way to flush enemies out from behind a Gloo Wall is to toss a grenade or any kind of explosive over the wall. Try not to throw it too far—you want to aim directly behind the Gloo Wall, because if the grenades lands too far away, they’ll be able to take cover behind the Gloo Wall.

If you land the grenade in the perfect spot, this will force the enemy to move away from the Gloo Wall, otherwise they risk taking heavy damage. As the enemy is scrambling out to find another safe spot, that’s your chance to gun them down, but be careful as they might just come out guns blazing!

3. Counter with character abilities!

Certain characters have abilities that can help them take down Gloo Walls more effectively. Xayne’s Xtreme Encounter, for example, lets her deal increased damage to Gloo Walls and shields. Nairi’s Ice Iron lets him deal more damage to Gloo Walls using assault rifles. Other characters have abilities to deal with barriers as well, like Skyler.

4. Use specialized equipment!

Certain weapons in Garena Free Fire are better suited for dealing with barricades and shields. The most prominent example is the M82B, a high-powered sniper rifle that can pierce through Gloo Walls. If you have an M82B, you can shoot right through it if you know where the enemy is.

Another example, if a little more risky, is the Flamethrower. The Flamethrower is not practical in combat most of the time since you’ll be fighting enemies that are really far from you, but the Flamethrower can melt a Gloo Wall in a matter of seconds!
