Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 To Release Next Month On Nintendo Switch

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 launched last year on PC and consoles, bringing back the acclaimed series with a collection that faithfully remasters the first two entries in the franchise originally released years back. The collection is also coming to Nintendo Switch, and now we finally know precisely when it will release.

Activision now confirmed that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 will be released on Nintendo Switch on June 25 worldwide. The game will be available at retail as well as digitally via the Nintendo Switch eShop.

No other detail has been confirmed about the Nintendo Switch version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, but we can be sure it will be a quality release. As confirmed a few weeks ago, original developer Vicarious Vision is working on this new version of the game, so the port should be as good as possible.

Vicarious Vision proved they fully understand what made the first few entries in the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series such great games. While remastering the two games for the collection, the developer left the gameplay as it was in the original releases, focusing mostly on the visuals, resulting in proper remasters that are among the best we have seen in recent times.
