Kelp farms are one of the most popular farms to make in Minecraft, because they give you an easy food and experience source. Today, we’ll be looking at various Kelp farm designs on YouTube and rank them for you. Let’s get started with our list of the top 5 Kelp farm designs in Minecraft Bedrock!

5. AjiCraft_53’s Design

Here’s a simple one. This design uses Observers and Pistons like usual, but in a twist, it uses a powered Minecart to collect all the Kelp. The Minecart spins around on a track below the farm, letting it collect lots and lots of Kelp for you. This is an efficient and simple design that is perfect for beginners looking to build their first automatic Kelp farm.

4. Ms Army’s Design

This one is a lot larger than the previous design, but the core premise is the same: use Observers to farm the Kelp, then have it auto collected at the bottom. This design uses Hoppers, and it’s quite wide, so it’s perfect for collecting tons of Kelp.

This farm is smaller than the others, but it’s still useful! You can passively gain lots of Kelp using this farm, and it gets bonus points thanks to its elegant look. If you don’t really need a lot of Kelp but still desire a passive farm, this is the perfect design for you.

This is another elegant and simple design that anyone can do, and the best part is that it doubles as an experience farm as well! Thanks to the built-in Smokers at the bottom, you can automatically cook the Kelp that drains down and get some nice experience from it.
