5 Tips for Minecraft Survival Mode
Survival mode is the most played gamemode in Minecraft. In this mode, players will die if their hearts drop below 0. Due to this, players must focus on surviving the dangers while exploring and building in their worlds.
5) Settle in village
Many Minecraft players build a dirt house or use a small cave as their beginner home in the starting days. However, it is better to settle in a village if players find one near the spawn point.
In villages, players will get beds for sleeping, tons of hay bales, and an iron golem for protection. On top of that, trading with villagers will also provide other useful items.

4) Do not dig straight down
It is one of the oldest pieces of advice in the history of Minecraft. Many veterans have also started avoiding digging straight down because of the new Caves & Cliffs Part II update. There is a high chance of dying by falling into a giant cave.
3) Stay safe from ravines
The Overworld has become more dangerous than it ever was. Massive caves and deep ravines start from surface level and generate down to Y -60. Players should avoid jumping around in unexplored caves and areas as there can be a hole leading down to the bottom of the world.
2) Manage hunger bar
Hunger bar has the most crucial role in Minecraft survival mode. When players lose damage, they can only recover health points if the hunger bar is 7 or above.
Moreover, players won’t be able to sprint when the hunger bar drops to 3 or below. Having a full hunger bar is one of the top priorities.
1) Light up your base and nearby areas
Hostile mobs are a common reason for death in Minecraft. Players can easily stop dangerous mobs from spawning near their base using light sources like torches, lanterns, etc. One torch can make prevent mob spawning in a 15 block radius.
