Brewing and crafting potions in Potion Craft requires a lot of trial and error, but once you figure out how to make the best potions, you’ll have a good source of income and open the way to more and more advanced recipes.
While the lists of best potion recipes may differ from player to player, we have compiled a selection of potions and instructions on how to make them that can serve as a good starting point for most fans of this game.
Potion of Healing
This potion would probably end up in any Potions 101 class as it’s unlocked quite early on. There are several variations of this recipe using different ingredients, but we opted for this one that uses only two ingredients. Here are the instructions:
- Grind one Waterbloom and add to the cauldron
- Add half of a Weirdshroom to the mortar, grind, and add to the cauldron
Potion of Wild Growth
Meant to increase the speed at which plants and trees grow (and therefore, popular with the locals), this potion requires three types of ingredients: Terraria, Windbloom, and Waterbloom. Follow these instructions to make it:
- Add 2 Terraria to the mortar and move the powder into the cauldron after grinding
- Grind one more Terraria to 70% and add to the cauldron
- Add 3 Waterbloom to the cauldron after grinding them in the mortar
- Grind 1 Windbloom and add the powder to the cauldron when done
Potion of Strength
Which warrior wouldn’t want this potion? And it’s quite easy to make as it requires only Terraria. You can make it by following these instructions:
- Add 3 Terraria to the mortar, grind them, and add the powder to the cauldron
- Add one more Terraria directly to the cauldron
Potion of Stone Skin
Useful to warriors but also to farmers, this potion should be in the recipe book of any self-respecting alchemist. It requires Terraria, Waterbloom, and Firebell, and here are the instructions for making it:
- Add 3 Terraria to the mortar and move the powder to the cauldron after grinding
- Add 1 Waterbloom to the cauldron after grinding it in the mortar
- Grind 1 Firebell and then add it to the cauldron
- Finish by adding one more Terraria to the cauldron without grinding
Potion of Poisoning
What would alchemy be without some sinister potions? To end on a more exciting note, we present the Potion of Poisoning, which doesn’t require much—just 1 Firebell and 1 Terraria. Grind Terraria in the mortar and add it to the cauldron, repeat the process with one Firebell, and your potion will be ready to serve its dark purpose.
It is also worth pointing out that there are many alternative approaches to making potions in Potion Craft, so let us know in the comments how you managed to make them and what other potions you discovered made it on your top 5 list.
