This list is all about the ultimate romantic experiences that will make you go Awww and thaw the coldest of hearts. Without further ado, here’s our selection of the top five most romantic things to do in Stardew Valley.

Go on a Hot Air Balloon Ride

Available as Harvey’s ten-heart event, this romantic activity is truly magical—and it comes as a surprise! After you meet Harvey at the railroad tracks, the balloon descends, and you get to go up for an incredibly romantic ride that culminates with a kiss.

This activity is even more meaningful considering that Harvey has a fear of heights—he planned all of this for you because he admires your courage, and that courage helps him deal with his own issues.

Go on a Boat Ride

Building friendship/romance with Elliott will result in a wonderful day at the beach in this ten-heart event. Elliott wants to confess how he feels about you, and he takes your character on a boat ride, where he gets overwhelmed by his feelings and finally kisses you while the waves gently rock your boat. Isn’t that just sweet?

Spend a Day at the Spa

Who doesn’t like the idea of spending a day in such a relaxing setting with their love interest? If you are pursuing Penny and reach the ten-heart level, you get to meet her in the spa’s pool between 7 pm and midnight—perfect timing for romance!

And Penny didn’t ask you here just for a quick swim—she confesses her feelings and kisses you while you’re both floating in the warm waters of the spa pool.

Take a Ride on a Motorcycle

This might not be everybody’s idea of romance, but there is something enticing about climbing a motorcycle with your crush and riding into the sunset. That’s exactly what you get to do if you’re trying to romance Sebastian.

As a part of his ten-heart event, he will pick you up on his bike and take you to a special place—a romantic cliff from which you can see the whole city and its twinkling lights. As the night progresses (and if you play your cards right), you will be smooching on Sebastian under the full moon in no time.

Put a Ring on It (or a Pendant at Least)

No matter who your love interest is in Stardew Valley and what your idea of romance entails, it goes without doubt that the most romantic event of them all is hearing those wedding bells.

You will have to do quite a lot beforehand—save 5,000 gold, get your relationship with your boyfriend or girlfriend to ten hearts, upgrade your house, and even fix a bridge to get a pendant from the Old Mariner and propose to your loved one.

But once all of that is in place, it’s time to propose and get ready fast because the wedding happens three days after you go down on one knee.

Yes, it may be nerve-racking, but it will all be worth it once you’re standing with your new wife or husband under a beautiful wedding arch celebrating your love, surrounded by all your friends and other townies. Now, that’s some top-level romance!

There you have it—the top five romantic things to do in Stardew Valley in our opinion. Let us know which events melted your heart and check out our other Stardew Valley guides, including How to Install and Play Stardew Valley Expanded Mod and Best Professions to Pick in Stardew Valley.
