With Ubisoft being fully focused on the development of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and a few other titles, it’s not a surprise that we haven’t heard much of Gods & Monsters, an open-world game that is clearly inspired by the Legend of Zelda series. The upcoming game, however, could be close to a new reveal, judging from somethint that has appeared online today.
A game called Immortals: Fenyx Rising has been rated in Taiwan, as spotted by Gematsu. While unannounced games do get rated all the time, what makes this rating interesting is that the game is going to be published by Ubisoft.
Also, the Gods & Monsters main character is named Fenyx, and given the fact that he is going to deal with mythological beasts from ancient Greece, this Immortals: Fenyx Rising has a very high chance of being the new name for the game originally announced last year.
Gods & Monsters is currently in development by the creators of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and promises to be an extremely epic adventure where main character Fenyx will have to prove his heroism by taking on dangerous creatures from Greek mythology, including their deadly leader Typhon.
While we haven’t seen much of the game yet, it gives off some serious Legend of Zelda vibes, so it could be the game to play for those who are eagerly anticipating Breath of the Wild 2, which still lacks a release date.
Gods & Monsters is now in development for Nintendo Switch as well as for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
