So, are you ready? Then let’s dive right into our Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest tips and tricks right here below!
Start strong by building a few resource facilities
You should start with this, because it is one of the things you can do early on which have quite a big impact on the game in the long run. Even if you won’t need all these resources in the early game, you should build the Blast Furnace, Slaughter Pens, Lumber Mills and Quarries early in the available lands (you can build maximum 3 of each for now).
The resource facilities will be located South of the wall, so you can see several plots of land there where you can place them.
Later on, if you want to destroy them and place other structures in their place, you can simply tap on the building then go to the little cogs button (next to the number of buildings that it shows you have on the right) and there you can tap on “Demolish”.
Construct and make the upgrades for free
All of the buildings you want to construct can be instantly built for free when you first unlock them. When you build the building for free, you get the structure finished instantly, and you can start making upgrades.
Some of these upgrades can be done immediately if you meet the game’s requirements (for example you have a certain level of Chaos Keep or have other buildings available which are required). When you press on the “Free Upgrade” button it will instantly level up the building without you having to wait minutes (or hours).
In my opinion you should always upgrade your buildings for free when you can, because this will take less than a second and if your builders are working on something already (which you can’t upgrade for free because it takes too long), you can leave them to work on it, while you go to another building which has a free upgrade available.
This will not require builders, so it’s good because you can do it even when you have your team working on other stuff.
Level your buildings as much as you can
The maximum level for the buildings is 30, so I definitely suggest upgrading everything that you can as much as you can. I always prefer to upgrade everything as soon as I unlock it, because that way I always have my buildings to the maximum possible level for my Chaos Keep’s level.
I always prefer to build the structures whenever I can, and after make all the possible upgrades that I can depending on my Chaos Keep’s level. This helps me keep track of all the buildings and make sure that I got everything maxed out before the game even asks me to.
Know when you can build and make upgrades
This is something pretty self explanatory, but if you haven’t yet noticed, then I’ll break it down for you. In the game, whenever there is something new that you can build, you will see a plot of land having a yellow glowing outline. This means that you have available stuff to construct there, so make sure you go and build whatever it is that you can.
Another thing that you need to pay attention to is the color of the structure’s level tag. All of the buildings have a tag which shows a number, which is the building level basically. If that tag is glowing red, it means that the building’s level can be upgraded – that you basically meet all the game’s requirements to make that upgrade.
Whenever you can, always try to keep the buildings maxed out, and whenever you see an upgrade available, make sure you go ahead and do it.
Join an active Alliance
This is one of the most important features in game, which allows you to benefit from several good things, such as construction speed ups and protection against enemy attacks.
I definitely suggest that you join a very good and active Alliance, because they will help you build stuff much faster without you having to waste your speed ups. You should take your time and find a good Alliance with a lot of members who are active before you join a random one.
Whenver you join an Alliance for the very first time you will also receive some great rewards, among which a Chaos Sorcerer on Manticore (rare) and 250 Warpstones.
The Alliance has a strong role in the game because you can help each other (help other members) by speeding up each other’s building construction (or rather upgrading) process. To do this, simply tap on the Alliance icon above the construction you want to speed up (after you join one, of course) and that will send a help request to the other members.
To help the others, simply open the menu on the right side with the same icon “Alliance Assist” and there you can see in the “Alliance Assists” tab that you have a button which says “Assist All”. Always tap on that to help all the members at once. You will receive Alliance Coins for all the asissts you offer!
Activate a few useful buffs
When you are just getting started, there are a few things you should make sure you do if you want to quickly advance and build a strong empire in the game. One of these is activating a couple extremely useful buffs.
These buffs can be activated on the right side of the screen, on the “Buffs” button. There, I suggest that you buy a “2 Day Build Queue” for 160 Warpstones, as well as a “2 Day Study Queue”, also for 160 Warpstones. These buffs will make things run much faster because you can basically double the amount of upgrades and studies you do for 2 days (which is definitely worth it).
Also in this menu you can see if you have other buffs that you can activate – or buy other useful buffs if you want.
A couple other Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest tips and tricks:
— When you see some small green crystals on the map (inside the fortress or on the outskirts) tap on them! They will reward you with Warpstones for free!
— Complete Solo and Alliance Trials by going to the hourglass icon under your champion’s icon in the main interface. There you can complete various trials which give you random rewards, and also some which can be completed only if you watch an ad for completion.
— Tap on the Warpstone icon in the main interface (top right corner) and there you will see an option that gives you 20 Warpstones free if you watch an ad! Definitely go watch an ad for this because it’s worth it for 20 Warpstones.
— Claim free chests in the Offers -> Bundles tab, every 6 hours. There you will get a chest which gives you various resources and goodies, up to 4 times a day!
— Learn various skills in the Sorcerer’s Citadel. There you can upgrade several things by learning (over time) things such as production speed increases, exp increases and other useful things (resource production boost). Learn everything in time (and by buying the “2 Day Study Queue” we mentioned before)!
— Place your buildings where you want them to be for the entire game, because there is no such option as “moving” a building. You can only destroy it if you don’t like where it is and that’s about it.
— Upgrade your wall always – keep training all kinds of defensive fortifications, by starting with the Debased Mortar and continuing with the next one, until you have maxed out the total defense.
