Warzone 2 brings a whole new set of fun to Call of Duty players and it only gets better. The Key Elimination mission in Warzone 2 DMZ starts out simple but becomes challenging and complicated in no time.
And in order to complete this mission, players will need to pass an Eliminate HVT (High-value target) contract, loot a key that they’ll find on an HVT or elsewhere, and use the same key to unlock a locked space. So in this article, we’re guiding you on how to unlock a locked space in Warzone 2: DMZ.
Warzone 2: DMZ Key Elimination Mission Guide – How To Unlock A Locked Space
As aforesaid, the Key Elimination mission starts out simple and your task is to complete an Eliminate HVT contract. Similar to how you were tasked with carrying out the Buried Barrels mission, open your tac map and look for a target icon. Go to it, interact with the phone and prepare to fight because lots of enemies will Strom your way.
One of the enemies will be the HVT that you must eliminate. And once you’ve put him down, check his body for a key. If you can’t find a key on the HVT right away, move on as you can find a key whenever you like and use it to unlock a locked space.
So if you were able to get the key at some point in a DMZ match, you can then use just about any key, including the one acquired from the Big Spender mission to unlock the locked space.
Unfortunately for some players, using keys isn’t as easy as it seems in the game. But the way that they work is that you need to have a key in your backpack and hover over it. Then the key’s description will reveal important coordinates like G6 or B2. And before you can use the key to unlock a locked space, you’ll have to go to the coordinate and take a look around locked areas.
Upon finding the locked area, use the key to unlock it. That is how you’ll complete the Elimination mission in Warzone 2 DMZ. And as a reward, you’ll be given the Fanning Konig calling card and 7,500 XP.
