Just like Bloodborne, Demon’s Souls, Sekiro, and the Dark Souls series, Elden Ring was directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki. The caveat here is that the game was made in collaboration with the award-winning fantasy novelist and source material creator for the highly popular Game of Thrones television show, George R. R. Martin, who provided a lot of source material for the game’s setting.

Elden Ring was released for Microsoft Windows, Steam Deck, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on February 25, 2022.

The Soulsborne games are known for their difficulty level, and Elden Ring is no exception. One of the things that can ease the difficulty curve is a player’s proper knowledge of the game’s stat system and how to use it to their advantage when choosing and making their own builds. Taking advantage of those builds, some players have chosen to get more creative with their playstyle.

Weirdest Weapons

While players generally go for the strongest weapons in the game, some players like messing around and having fun with the weirdest weapons in the game. Some weapons, while good enough in battle, have fun and strange abilities that serve more comical purposes in a bleak, hope-forsaken land.

These are the weirdest weapons in Elden Ring that we can think of.

1. Envoy’s Horn

A unique hammer that has a chance to drop from the Oracle Envoys. It has a special Weapon Skill called Oracular Bubble that launches bubbles to hit and damage enemies.

2. Jar Cannon

A unique ballista that drops from the Demi-Human Queen Margot boss. It fires explosive ballista bolts and is a great ranged weapon choice.

3. One-Eyed Shield

A unique greatshield that drops from the NPC Chief Guardian Arganthy. It has a special Weapon Skill called Flame Spit that launches fire to hit and damage enemies.

4. Ghiza’s Wheel

5. Ringed Finger

A unique hammer that can be found at the end of Gelmir Hero’s Grave. It has a special Weapon Skill called Claw Flick that knocks enemies back and deals heavy damage.

6. Varre’s Bouquet

A unique hammer that drops after invading and defeating White-Faced Varre. It has a special Weapon Skill called Blood Tax that unleashes a flurry of attacks and drains the enemies’ HP.
