These new quests are called Follower Quests. Here’s everything you need to know about them.

What Are Follower Quests in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak?

Follower Quests are a new type of quest in Monster Hunter Rise that will be added to the game with the Sunbreak expansion launching on June 30. These quests will be single-player-only quests where players will be able to embark on hunts together with characters from Kamura Village and Elgado, the new main hub that will be introduced in the expansion.

Followers, just like human-controlled hunters, will be able to assist players in several different ways and even ride monsters, but they are considerably more limited than human partners, as they cannot change the weapon type they wield. This limitation is set to make select Follower Quests more complicated, but at least players will be rewarded well for completing them, as it will be possible to receive some exclusive rewards upon completion.
