Elden Ring is an open-world action role-playing developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
Just like Bloodborne, Demon’s Souls, Sekiro, and the Dark Souls series, Elden Ring was directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki. The caveat here is that the game was made in collaboration with the award-winning fantasy novelist and source material creator for the highly popular Game of Thrones television show, George R. R. Martin, who provided a lot of source material for the game’s setting.
Elden Ring was released for Microsoft Windows, Steam Deck, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on February 25, 2022.
The Soulsborne games are known for their difficulty level, and Elden Ring is no exception. The game starts out relatively easy but does not hold players’ hand at any point. The areas later get progressively tougher but players need to do certain things to unlock them, like getting far enough and obtaining key items. One of such items is the Shabriri Grape.
Shabriri Grape
Shabriri Grape is a Key Item in Elden Ring. Key Items in Elden Ring include a wide variety of items found in specific locations or are given by related NPCs which are then used to unlock areas, quests, and to further progress the game’s story.
Unlike most Key Items which have a fixed preset location, there are a few places that Shabriri Grapes can be found at:
- The first one is found near a spirit NPC at Godrick’s throne, at the lower section. This can only be accessed by defeating Godrick the Grafted.
- The second one is found on the lower level of the Purified Ruins. Break the planks of wood at the entrance of this area to access it.
- The third one is found after defeating the NPC invader, Edgar the Revenger, at the Revenger’s Shack in Western Liurnia.
- The last one is dropped by an invader at the Church of Inhibition.
Shabriri Grape Usage
The Shabriri Grape is used to progress Hyetta’s NPC questline. Hyetta roams The Lands Between in search of the distant light. She is drawn to her destiny by a guiding shine she feels in the back of her eyes when eating Shabriri Grapes. The questline proceeds when the Grapes are given to her.
