Wisps in Pokemon Legends: Arceus are tiny collectable beings of purple light scattered across the whole region. There are 107 Wisps altogether (108 if we include the one from the request’s end cutscene), and they can be found in Jubilife Village, in the Obsidian Fieldlands, in the Crimson Mirelands, in the Cobalt Coastlands, in the Alabaster Icelands, and in the Coronet Highlands.
Wisps are visible and collectable even before you start the official mission to find them, but be warned: it is best to wait until you have started the side quest “Eerie Apparitions in the Night.” Tip: Start the quest after you have discovered the Hisuian Braviary so you can fly above the map easily! This way you can gather them all, even from inaccessible places, keeping track of which ones you have collected with map markers.
What Happens When You Have Collected All the Wisps?
After defeating Noble Kleavor and returning to Jubilife Village to speak to Commander Kamado, Vessa gives you an Odd Keystone and asks you to collect the first Wisp. Take the 1st Wisp back to Vessa and begin the Eerie Apparitions in the Night request.
Once you have collected all 107 Wisps from all over the Hisui Region, there is a cutscene where you get to collect the 108th wisp. The Odd Keystone given to you earlier will release Spiritomb, giving you the chance to catch it! This Pokemon is only available through the Eerie Apparitions in the Night request. To complete the entire Pokedex, this side quest must be finished to have Spiritomb added.
Good luck!
