Peridot has features similar to Pokemon Go with real locations and exploration to do! In Peridot, there are places called Habitats which involve a lot of real-world locations. They are pretty important places to visit, but what are Habitats used for in Peridot? Let’s find out more about them below.
Peridot Habitat Guide
As a Keeper it is important that you keep your Dot happy. There are various ways to do this, of course, by feeding them, training, them, and going on walks. Another way they love to have fun is to explore, and visit Habitats.
Habitats are locations in the real world that you can visit with your Dot. You can see how many Habitats are around you at any moment by tapping on the Map icon on the home screen. From there you can see lots of purple blobs. These show the locations of every Habitat, and are usually important or notable locations such as parks, places of worship, community areas, or public art like statues.

As you can see above there can be many Habitats near you at any time so you won’t even have to wander too far to visit some! When you arrive at a Habitat you will find it is a great place to meet other Keepers like yourself, and their Dots. Your Dot will also love to hang out by a Habitat, and forage nearby for some goodies.

Any Keeper who has visited the Habitat with their Peridot pet recently will be named under the Habitat info, and you can add your own Dot to the Habitat by tapping the + shown at the top of the Habitat. Your Dot’s name will be there for five days, plenty of time for others to meet them and add you as a friend. You could add any of those Keepers as friends, and have your own pet Hatch-A-Dot with theirs using a Campfire. If you hatch a Dot at the Habitat, that baby Dot may be featured on the Habitat Bulletin Board.
