Asphalt 9: Legends is the ninth and currently the last game in the Asphalt series. In the game, you can get more than 140 unique cars, each of which can be customized. Also, unlike in the previous parts, several new game modes are available in the game. One of these modes is Hunted Race, and that’s what we’ll be talking about in this article.
What Is a Hunted Race in Asphalt 9: Legends?
Hunted Race is a new racing mode that first appeared in Asphalt 9: Legends. In this game mode, you have to finish the race within a certain time and avoid getting into accidents, all while you are being chased by cops. If you get into a big accident, then most likely you will be arrested and the race will fail.
Gameplay of Hunted Race:
- Choose which track you will play on. In part 9 of the series, many new tracks have been added.
- The game will now begin. You need to drive the entire track without getting into an accident, and also try not to get into police checkpoints.
- Along the entire track, you will meet police cars that will immediately rush after you in pursuit. You can simply run away from them or try to destroy them.
- At the very end of the race, you will see a police blockade. Your task is to jump over it using one of the two available ramps. If you hit the blockade, the game will be lost.

Along the way, you can meet several types of police cars:
- Police car. The simplest and most common car in this mode.
- Police SUV. A slightly more powerful car. Less common during a race and slightly more dangerous to players.
- SWAT Van. This car is larger, and a collision with it can spoil or significantly worsen the result of the race.
- Police helicopter. Very rare during a race. It is worth dodging it since a collision with it means 100% defeat.
