What is Fortnite Zero Build

Epic Games is adding a bunch of new features to Fortnite as part of its newest season, and this time, they’ve removed buildings. It’s a surprising move, as buildings were one of the game’s most iconic features.

Epic is making changes to an even more permanent part of the experience with the introduction of Zero Build mode. In this article, we’ll be telling you what the Zero Build mode is all about in Fortnite’s newest season update.

What is Fortnite Zero Build?

As the name implies, the Zero Build mode is a combat-focused option in Fortnite where players are unable to gather resources to build defensive structures and protect themselves in battle.

Epic recently introduced a new shield as well as more mobility options to make up for it, giving players a faster-paced gameplay experience.

Zero Build mode is available to play across solo, duos, squad modes, and trios. It also joins an ever-growing list of ways to play Fortnite, such as Creative, violence-free Party Royale, and Imposters. There are a bunch of new features that have been added to the game apart from the Zero Build mode, but it does seem like the most significant.

Epic is yet to announce whether building will eventually make its way back to Fortnite, but we can only assume that it mostly likely will return to the game as it one of the many distinct features of Fortnite.
