10 months after its release on Nintendo Switch, Monster Hunter Rise has made its debut on PC, complete with most of the additional content that has been released so far and a selection of additional visual and performance options that make the game even more enjoyable.
The PC version of the game, currently out only on Steam, has been released together with the Deluxe Kit, which includes some additional content not found in the base game. Let’s find out exactly what is included in the Deluxe Kit.
What is in the Monster Hunter Rise Deluxe Kit on Steam?
The Monster Hunter Rise Deluxe Kit DLC on Steam includes some additional cosmetics and add-ons that look incredibly cool and fit quite well with the Japanese-inspired aesthetics the game’s going for.
The additional items included in the Deluxe Kit are:
- “Kamurai” Hunter layered armor set
- “Shuriken Collar” Palamute layered armor piece
- “Fish Collar” Palico layered armor piece
- Gestures (4 Jumps)
- Samurai pose set
- Kabuki face paint
- “Izuchi Tail” hairstyle
While it may seem like these items are available exclusively for the Monster Hunter Rise PC version, this is not the case. All of these add-ons are also available on Nintendo Switch as part of the Deluxe Edition, which can still be purchased from the Nintendo Switch eShop.
Sadly, Deluxe Edition retail copies have been sold out, so if you’re looking to find one, you may be searching for it for a very long time. And if you aren’t into showing off exclusive gear to other players, it may not be worth all the trouble, as these add-ons do not feature exclusive skills or anything else that could give you an advantage in battle.
