Among the strongest enemies you can encounter in the early game is the Crucible Knight. Here’s the boss’ main weakness that you can exploit to make the fight a little easier.

What is the Crucible Knight’s Weakness in Elden Ring on Steam Deck

The Crucible Knight is among the first optional bosses you will encounter. He can be fought via the Evergaol located in Stormhill, Limgrave, and he will be quite a challenge if you attempt to take him on shortly after starting the game. While he does hit hard, there is a way to make the fight a little easier.

Compared to other enemies, the Crucible Knight’s attacks are somewhat slow, and they are very telegraphed. This makes it very easy for you to parry his attacks with a shield or weapon that comes with the Parry ability. After an attack gets parried, the Crucible Knight’s stance will be broken, and the enemy will be open for a very damaging critical attack.

While parries are the Crucible Knight’s weakness, you should still be careful during this fight and not attempt to parry each and every attack. In the second phase, the enemy will start unleashing magic-based attacks that are not only very powerful but that also cannot be parried. At this point, you should work on your dodges and attack the enemy only when it is absolutely safe to do so.
