dead by daylight portrait of murder chapter feature

What is the Forsaken Boneyard in Dead by Daylight

Dead By Daylight is a survival horror game from Behaviour Interactive that first arrived in 2016 with a handful of maps to play on. It has since spawned many more maps thanks to new chapters being added along with extra killers and survivors. There have been collaborations with classic horror characters such as Michael Myers from Halloween and Ghostface from the Scream movie franchise, but also some original additions like The Artist. The Artist projects flocks of crows at survivors to show their location, and to injure them, or put them in a dying state. This spooky beauty brought with her a brand new map- The Eyrie of Crows- which resides in the realm of the Forsaken Boneyard.

All About the Forsaken Boneyard

Some realms within Dead By Daylight have a few maps, for example the Red Forest realm has both Mother’s Dwelling and The Temple of Purgation maps. The Forsaken Boneyard, however, has just one map- The Eyrie of Crows.

This map is one of the brightest in Dead By Daylight. The game traditionally had quite dark and gloomy maps to play in but in more recent times some maps have been worked on to make them brighter, like Coldwind Farm.

Eyrie of Crows in the Forsaken Boneyard realm is a bright and dusty desert with a large, foreboding building in the centre. The Basement can occasionally be found in this building’s basement if it is not in the Killer’s Shack, and has walled areas around to loop the killer.

It is suggested that this map is pretty survivor-sided because the generators are well-spaced out and do not cause the team of survivors to concentrate too much on one area. You can increase the chance of going to this particular map by putting in an offering in the lobby before the game starts. The offering for Eyrie of Crows looks like a Crows’s eye:

The map has a good amount of open space between the walled areas so is pretty good for ranged killers like The Artist or Huntress, or stealth killers like The Shape (Michael Myers) or Ghostface.
